Bella Thorneis ready to get married to her fiancé Mark Emms.
TheShake It Upalum started dating Emms in August 2022 after the two met atCara Delevingne’s birthday party. Theygot engaged nine months later, and have been planning their wedding since.
Thorne told PEOPLE in December 2023 that ever since getting engaged, the couple’s relationship has only “gotten heightened,” and that every day they “draw closer.”
“It’s really like, ‘Oh wow, we’re really, you’re my partner.’ Let’s do this together,” she said. “So that kind of becomes more real every day, and kind of solidifies our partnership more and more every day.”
She added that even though the two were “definitely very much past” the honeymoon phase in their relationship, they were still learning more about each other and growing together.

Emms is the owner of his own production company, Emms Productions, while also working with Eastern Road Films as a producer, per hisLinkedIn. Previously, he founded another company in 2008 called Fire Global Media Productions, which he left in 2019.

In addition to being the CEO of his own production companies, Emms is also the co-owner of The Mulberry Bar in New York City. The trendy hotspot opened in February 2023 in the middle of Fashion Week and celebrated the occasion with a star-studded party.

Emms and Thorne met on a beach in Ibiza in August 2022 where they mingled all night during Delevingne’s birthday party. “It was love at first sight as the sun rose,” theRumble Through the Darkactress toldVogue.
PEOPLE confirmed the two were dating a month later, after photos showed them kissing on a yacht in Mykonos, Greece.
“It’s new, and they’re having fun,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE at the time. “They’ve been dating for about a month.”

In May 2023, Thorne announced that Emms had proposed to her the day before Mother’s Day at her house. He popped the question with an over10-carat emerald-cut diamond ringand the happy couple celebrated with their families afterward, perVogue.
The singer told the outlet that she was already thinking about her wedding, sharing that she had her sights set on a countryside location in the U.K., where Emms is from. As for the dress, Thorne said she planned on having multiple — and was considering designers from Dior to vintage Schiaparelli.
“Every bride does not need one gown, but four!” Thorne said.
They’re in the throes of wedding planning
Thorne told PEOPLE in December 2023 that before they get married, she wanted to make sure they continued to grow together and work through any issues they may face with the help of a therapist.
“[We’re] still really learning each other’s traits, and trying to get them right before we get married so that we’re not figuring out all that stuff on the table,” she said. “I think me and Mark are really in our language of now, talking it out now, so we can just do it or get through it or decide how we want to feel about it.”
“Or if we need to see a therapist over that one specific topic, then we do it,” she added.
Thorne elaborated that while their wedding planning was “going great,” they hadn’t come a long way yet as both were busy with their work.
“All our planning goes into work,” she told PEOPLE. “We have not done the wedding planner yet. We haven’t gotten to that stage yet.”
She added that they did need to get on it “ASAP” since the date was set for 2024. “We’re just so busy and every time we’re like, ‘OK, babe, let’s do it,’ we always end up doing it with work,” the “Phantom” singer said.
They enjoy traveling together
Thorne and Emms have had some romantic vacations across the globe. After meeting in Ibiza and vacationing in Mykonos in 2022, they hit Europe again in July 2023 with a trip to Italy. Thorne wasin Taormina with her fiancéwhere they enjoyed a night out after her film,Paint Her Red, debuted at the 69th Taormina Film Festival.
Two months later, the couple returned to Italy and took a gondola ride in the canals of Venice after they made an appearance at the amfAR Gala Venezia.
