Pete Davidsonis paying no mind to his 20-year age gap withKate Beckinsale.
TheSaturday Night Livecomedian, 25, addressed hisbudding romancewith the actress, 45, for the first time on this weekend’s episode, making it clear that to them, age is nothing but a number.
During the end of Davidson’s appearance on Weekend Update, Colin Jost asked if his costar had any new life developments, “like a new girlfriend.” Davidson was initially reluctant but soon opened up about Beckinsale.
“Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference,” replied Davidson. “But it doesn’t really bother us. But then again, I’m new to this.”
Davidson then hilariously listed famous men in May-December romances, most of whom are linked to women at least 20 years younger than them.
“So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just askLeonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, and whoever the president of France is [Emmanuel Macron, who is 24 years younger than his wife]. Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.”

Davidson and theUnderworldactressfirst sparked romance rumorsin January, when they were seen cuddling at a Golden Globes afterparty.
They were spottedholding handsin publictwicein the following weeks, and on March 3 werephotographed locking lipsat a New York Rangers game at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The photos — which featured the couple passionately kissing asQueer Eye’s Antoni Porowski sat next to them — quicklyturned into memeson social media, one of which even caught Beckinsale’s eye.
Sheweighed in on the chatterafter a meme suggested she was with Davidson over Porowski because the latter represented “wholesome guys,” while the comedian represented “guys with problems from childhood.”
Beckinsale was previously linked to comedian Matt Rife, 23, in 2017, and they dated for a year.
Rife recentlycommentedon her new relationship, jokingly tellingTMZhis advice for Davidson: “Man to man? Run.”
He added, “Enjoy it while you can. I hope they’re both happy. I hope that it can build to where it’s an established, good relationship. I wish them both the best. I hope they’re happy. I don’t really have any solid advice, just be careful.”
