Ahead of Alyson Hannigan’s performance onDancing with the Starson Tuesday, theHow I Met Your Motheralum gave a touching nod to her time on the hit sitcom.
“If you know you know💛☂️💛,” Hannigan captioned the post.
Josh Radnor, who played Ted, commented alongsideHIMYMfans, writing to Hannigan: “I know!”
But the dance wasn’t just nostalgic for one of her signature roles, Hannigan also used the dance to honor her20th anniversarywith husbandAlexis Denisof.
“Tonight we celebrate my most memorable year,” she wrote onInstagramalongside a picture of herself holding a bouquet of red roses. “2003: the year I married my husband and our happily ever after began. 💍 #MostMemorableYear #DWTS.”

“He’s been so supportive — and I’m not surprised, but I’m super appreciative,” she explained. “He is that guy. He’s always been a hands-on dad and he’s made so many sacrifices for us. But just the support and in every single way of, I’m home, but I’m lying on the couch, kind of like, ugh. And he’s everything. He cooks, [he] gets me ice. He’s everything. It’s amazing.”

Hannigan also gushed about what it meant to finally hit that big marriage milestone.
“It really feels like an accomplishment. I’m so proud of us,” she shared. “The fact that we’re so happy now and that I love him even more than I did then is so awesome.”
“We’re so, so lucky,” she added. “We found each other.”
