A few weeks ago , we cover what Luke ’s third lesson to Rey would have been , if it had n’t been reduce out of the flick . you may understand all about it here , but to summarize , it was Luke playing a conjuring trick on Rey about the Caretakers being terrorized by bandit .

On this week ’s instalment of The Star Wars Show , an actual clip of that scene was demo . Here it is .

The footage was used as an example of new subject that will be in The Last Jedi novelisation by Jason Fry — including , as we observe in an early C. W. Post , Han ’s funeral .
The Last Jedi Blu - ray is expected to have even more deleted scene , but this is the first footage we ’ve witness from any of them ; as for when we ’ll get the rest , like we said , there ’s no prescribed release escort yet . However , since The Force Awakens came out on April 5 , 2016 and Rogue One add up out April 4 , 2017 , we ’re opine it ’ll belike be out on April 3 .
