Yes , Tom Cavanaugh has returned to The Flash , as the Harrison Wells of Earth-2 link up the SuperSTARS in fighting Zoom . Guess what , though ? People are having a hard time trusting someone ho face exactly like the malefic mastermind who murdered their loved ones ( or in some cases , themselves ) . It also does n’t facilitate that the Wells of Earth-2 is a full jerk ! A hilarious , screaming jerk .

Guys , I ca n’t enjoin you how much I loved “ The Light and the Darkness . ” I think I laughed out loud during it more than any other Flash sequence so far . The sequence begins with Wells give a printing press conference in Earth-2 , where he debuts what is fundamentally a metahuman - find Apple Watch . Not that I was ever really disliking it , but bringing Tom Cavanaugh back with a whole new mystery , a hilarious new bad position and for no one on the SuperSTARS to have any awe for him whatsoever ? That , my friend , is a recipe for some undischarged amusement flop there . And that ’s even before you envision in that Cisco has finally realise his superhero name , Vibe !

• I know I ’ve sound out it before , but there ’s a real natural rapport between Grant Gustin and Carlos Valdes that even makes inconsequential scene like them hanging out in the coffee shop a delight to catch . They really sense like genuine friends . aboveboard , this may be because Valdes has a great resonance with everybody . I ca n’t believe this is the same fibre who annoyed me so much when the show began .

• By the direction , that was the future Hawkgirl working at millilitre Jitters that Cisco ased on a date . Absolutely no signs of her next Hawkgirl - ness revealed so far , though .
