Dominic Fike’s return toseason 3ofEuphoriais unclear, as the actor said “I don’t really talk to them anymore” following a negative experience with the show-provided “sober coach.”
“When I was onEuphoria, they kind of just gave me like, a coach who would just talk to you. It was whatever. It was just some random lady,” he said, adding that the director ofLittle Death,Jack Bergert, is “one of my best friends so it made it a lot easier, obviously.”

OnEuphoria, however, he says his coach was “just like, ‘Don’t do drugs!’”
She was “just a random lady that I’d never relate to,” he continued. “We have nothing in common. We didn’t come from the same places or the same problems. It was hard to take advice from someone like that or give a s—t.”
Fike, who is also a musician, previously spoke about quitting“cigarettes, drugs, sex and alcohol’to improve his live performances. “I had to get sober to do it,” he said.
Although his return toEuphoriais up in the air, Fike said it “would be dope” to reprise his role of Elliot.

Fike has shared thathe was almost fired fromEuphoriafor his drug use, admitting that he’d filmed scenes while high.
“I was reprimanded for it. I almost, you know, got kicked off the show…. They were like, ‘Bro, you cannot be doing this.'”
But he’d also spoken positively about his character’s return, tellingApple Music’s Zane Lowethat the upcoming season is “gonna be sick.”

“I have a better dynamic with everybody,” he said. “I mean, well, I don’t know. Almost everybody,” seemingly referring tohis breakupwithEuphoriacostarHunter Schafer.
Despite their split, he was optimistic the two could still work together.
“I think it’ll be fine,” he’d said. “We’re all adults, kind of. I’m trying.”
But now, although Fike toldVariety“that’d be dope” to return to the show, he added, “Who knows? I got stuff to do.”
