3D is here , whether we’reready for itornot . But ! 3D projectors cost as much as $ 175,000 . There ’s a modicum of hope , though — if you already own a 2D projector — in this neat little workaround called OculR.

The OculR system , from Oculus3D , is still too dear for item-by-item consumer at $ 20k-$25k per sieve . But its compatibility with any standard 35 mm projector could be a blessing to smaller , local theater chains .
