Charming animated short about a naturalist and a giant salamander

Malcolm Navel , the protagonist ofNate Milton‘s short filmTank , is a young amateur naturalist with an impressive compendium of critters . One day , after encountering a giant fire hook , he discovers a mystic connection between one of his tanks and the man outside .

The mitt - spun storybook feel of the invigoration does a lot to enamour Malcolm ’s sense of awe , and helps us debar our unbelief at the relationship between the salamander tank car and the large humanity . Milton crowdfunded this short through asuccessful Kickstarter campaign , and has put up some of the production work onTumblr .
