In In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at the premiere ofBuying Beverly Hillsseason 2, Mauricio sits down with his three oldest daughters —Alexia, 27, andSophia, 24, andFarrah Brittany, 35 (who is Kyle’s daughter from her first marriage) — to tell them that he is officially separated from their mother.

He tells his daughters that his wife, 55, told him, “I’m not going to be asking what you’re doing, I don’t want you to be asking me what I’m doing … we are separated.”
