It ’s summer , which means it ’s the clock time for open flame char our dinners to perfection . Just like dada did it . Just like dad ’s palaeolithic forefathers did it .
WINNER : Meat Man
I go for I ’m not breaking any rules with this photo , but I call back a story board fashion picture was necessary . After getting the little guy prepped I realized I did not have any toothpicks , the staple for red-hot dog piece . So I ascertain the next best thing , spaghetti noodles . The noodles actually hold up quite well … at least until the metal plating 🙂 I hardly ever use my charcoal grill , but I retrieve it would give this scene a overnice added touch . Needless to say I did it wrong . The ember were not blistering enough and I ended up finishing the food for thought with my trusty propane grill . I used my Canon T1i and kit lens for these shots . I made department of corrections in Lightroom , and arranged the exposure in Photoshop . Enjoy !

Grilled Umami
Photography and the grill . A conflux of passion and a fun , thought-provoking project . I went down to the meatman at the Farmers Market here in Los Angeles and found two fatty Rib Eyes . That was for the big flame up . They were seasoned with ocean common salt , pepper and olive oil . I like grill vegetable and matte the tomatoes would be a dainty balance for the steaks . knead the camera and the grille made for tricky timing , the only casualty being the all right hair on my right hand . This was shot on my Panasonic GH-3 using the new Sigma 60 mm Art Series Lens . I illuminate the guesswork with an old halogen workplace lamp . The tv camera was go under at ISO 1600 , f/2.8 shot at 1/250th of a mo .

Went For It Anyway
As I was have a bomb burger for my menage I decided to finally enter one of these contests . I remembered in you post that you said you did n’t want something too cliché with tons of flames but I went for it anyway and used cooking atomizer to really get things crazy . I also decided to make it a bit more interesting and do a double photograph shot with the ruined product that being a bacon , sugar , and avocado joker burger on garlic bread . I call back the final resolution end up being pretty interesting and I really care how the flames fill in the top and the lettuce . I call the picture encounter Your Maker as in the sandwich meet the fiery grille that created it . Hope you like it ! Also I used a Canon T4i with a 17 - 40 mm f4L Burger on Grill : f5 ISO 100 1/125 Final Product ( Sandwich ): f4 ISO 4000 1/60

Peach
I ’ve been following the photo challenge for some time now but this is my first entry . This challenge sound like a fun and tasty one . So I decease and bought some fruit , conglomerate my equipment and headed out to grillwork . Oh , I forgot to mention- I know in Texas and the estrus index finger just so happened to be 115 degrees that day . Adding flak to the equation certainly did n’t help . The peach ended up being reasonably symbolic of the effects of the sizzling hot summer sun with its juices drip onto the grill . fritter with Canon 5D Mark II , EF 24 - 105 mm f/4L. Shot at f/4 , 250 ISO at 1/160sec .

Turf
Equipment : Camera : Canon T3i Lens : Canon EF 50 mm F/1.4 F - Stop : 2.8 ISO : 100 Grill : Weber Genesis S-330 I ’ve been require to do a shooting challenge for a long time , but my work agenda has made it impossible up until now . This week I ’m work from home , and had just enough prison term to plant something up for this challenge . There ’s a butcher a few miles down the route that sit at the border of a highway on a farm . They have the good meat around ( most of it raised mightily there on the farm ) , and I always get amazing results cook it on my grill . While I prefer to get it fresh , my wife had a twosome of NY strip steaks from this butcher in the freezer , so I unfreeze them out and set things up for this shoot . thing did n’t go quite as I planned , but I still ended up with some good shots . I setup my tripod in front of the grill , and took a few practice shots using some hot dogs for my kid . I tried to get my married woman to hold my 43″ Gold Reflector Disc in the sun at the good angle to speculate onto the gist ( the grillroom was in the shade ) , but the breeze proved too much for her to contain it still . So I snap up my remote shutter dismissal cable , and essay to do it all myself , that did n’t work out either . I trench the idea of using the reflecting telescope and just took several dead reckoning , essay to catch the episodic fire flare up . I took a few at F1.4 and a few at F2.8 , this was the best of the crew . When I start the image on my computer , I realize I forget to put my circular polarizing filter on , so several of them had a scrap too much manifestation off the juices . Oh well too late to re - do it now . The steak were awesome as usual , my wife said it was “ like an coming in her mouth ” .

Surf
Equipment : Sony NEX 5n + Zeiss 24/1.8 ISO : 400 degree Fahrenheit : 1.8 Description : I pullulate the photo using the highest degree Fahrenheit point since it was at nighttime meter , giving it a counterpoint outcome between the subject and desktop . Had to shoot it at the right moment when the lobster was just at the juicy moment . The issue turned out to be pretty respectable , the lobster was even more luscious .

Maybe a little late but here is my effort for Grill shooting challenge . I am English so the chance to grillwork only comes about when we put something in the oven , however , I recently bring together a photograph group and our first sports meeting was at a market where i saw this minuscule fellow . I conceive it was sorry but delicious . I especially loved the sausage next to the pig- yesteryear , present and future all on one grill collection plate . Enjoy .

Like Butta
Making a delicious steak before work and the avoirdupois around the sharpness had just enough crisp to them I decided I should snap a picture and apportion it . The fat is only good when its its crispy on the exterior and thaw like butta on the inside . iPhone 5 Back camera 4.12 mm f/2.4 ISO 64

Mmm , Cancer
I did n’t really have anything to grill this hebdomad . While thinking of something to grillwork I was cleanse up for my upcoming move and found this phone that no longer operate . I thought it might count neat on ardor and make this challenge more related to to tech . This is in two pictures , one with the fire and one with the sound covered in hummer . I had a firing drop dead for a bit then threw the speech sound on the grill , by then the flames were gone so it just started melt the phone . I threw some inflammation fluid ( safe , I know ) to get some flame around the sound but the coal did n’t catch fire it just make a lot of gage , that was the first mental picture . After this I retrieve it would be a unsound idea to actually catch the telephone on attack while on the grill as I did n’t want to damage the grille , I remove it and took a picture of the flames and put it together in photoshop . This was taken with a t3i , kit crystalline lens 18 - 55 mm , 1/200 , 5.6f , 100 ISO .
